WCID#12 (Water Control and Improvement District # 12) |
The recent WCID#12 annexation of part of Kemah Oaks was a positive change for the half of Kemah Oaks previously not in the district. Only persons who previously signed a petition were annexed so far. Other persons must register with the Water Board, seeking to become in-district. Now that the initial time period is over, becoming in-district will involve a cost to the home owner. Primarily, being in-district means that the resident does not pay out of district service fees and instead pays district taxes. A significant detail is that district taxes are potentially deductible on federal income tax returns. Also, in-district residents may vote in WCID # 12 elections. Please contact WCID# 12 for details at 281-334-3331.

Quick Reminders... |
- Children are not allowed in the pool without parental supervision.
- Help to Recycle - Collections occur every other Saturday. Accepted items include paper, recyclable plastic, clear glass, and aluminum. If you need a recycle bin(s), please call or go by Kemah City hall and ask for Barbara.
- Register your cat or dog at Kemah City Hall, as required by the city. And for animal owners, please be courteous of other homeowners and clean up after your animal. Pets are required to be on a lease or penned. All stray animals (cats and dogs) should be dealt with by animal control. Please call the county when you see an animal in need of a home.
- Alarm registration for your home alarms also occurs at City Hall, at the Kemah Police Department (around back).
